All Items for: NCE Elementary: Fall 18

Welcome to NCE Elementary's Fall 2018 registration and payment page.

Registration has been extended for Wicked Cool Superhero Science at Eliot and Hillside. Registration is now closed for all other Fall NCE classes.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please note that you will NOT be able to use your child’s Nutrition Services SchoolPay account to register and/or pay for NCE classes. The NCE Elementary catalog and related emails will include a direct link to the NCE Elementary registration page on SchoolPay, where you will then be prompted to complete all required information and checkout (without using your child’s student account). We apologize for this inconvenience, but the student accounts do not enable NCE to capture all of the information we need for each student.

IMPORTANT: You must acknowledge acceptance of the following NCE waiver: I/We, the parents/guardians of the registered student, a minor, hereby consent to his/her participation in the Needham Community Education Program, the taking of photos of my/our child and/or promotion of the program, and to his/her use of the Needham Public Schools facilities and equipment.  I/We further agree to release and hold harmless the Town of Needham, Needham Public Schools and their employees, agents and assigns from any and all liability or expenses arising out of any incident involving, or any account of any injury to the above named minor in connection with such program.  I/We further consent to emergency treatment by a physician in the event of injury to, or illness of our child during his/her participation in this program.  I/We accept full responsibility for all costs for any such emergency treatment.  I/We agree to abide by NCE policies.

Wait Lists: If you would like to add your child to a wait list for a full class, please email Carolyn Colonna, NCE Program Director, carolyn_colonna@needham.k12.ma.us. Include the class name, class location, your child’s name and your best daytime phone number. If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted right away.

Scholarship Assistance: Scholarship assistance is available. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch may take one class per session with NCE at a reduced price. Scholarship registrations cannot be taken online. Please contact NCE for assistance at: 781-455-0400 (option 5).

NCE Elementary programs are open to all students. Are there special considerations we should know about so that your child will have a positive experience in the program? If so, please list them in the designated areas of the registration form. Note: NCE Elementary instructors and staff have no access to IEPs.

Registration policies: There are no refunds for withdrawals once a registration has been completed. There will be a $20 administrative fee assessed for all requested changes to original registrations. Classes cancelled by NCE will be refunded in full. Refunds will be made by check from the Town of Needham and may take up to 3 weeks.

Questions? Call NCE at 781-455-0400 (option 5).
