FHS Gladiator ROHO Club -
ROHO is a Swahili word that means “big heart” or “big spirit.” It’s origin came from an Olympic runner from Africa who ran the 10,000 meter race after collapsing the day before in the 15,000 meter. When asked how he was able to do it he said it was because of his ROHO, his heart. It means to fight when you have no fight to give, to persevere even when the journey is long, to believe even when you may not have any reason to believe. Our alumni, parents and community are a part of our journey as a program. You are the ROHO of our team!
The ROHO CLUB is an opportunity for alumni, parents and community members to be a part of our journey and believe in our mission to produce high quality student-athletes that will take the lessons learned in Track & Field and use them to pursue excellence in the future.
