Welcome back! Registration for Crockett Elementary Wolf's Den 2022-2023.
At this time, we no longer have space for Full Time/Half Time/Occasional Ext Day. We are filled to capacity.
The Occasional Ext Day and Monthly Extended Day Items are available for purchase ONLY to current participants.
Enrichment Classes offered by Vendors will be posted the week of January 30 for classes to begin the week of February 13.
Feel free to fill out the REQUIRED Registration Form if you wish to be on a waiting list for Ext Day. Thank you.
NOTE: FOR NEW STUDENTS TO CROCKETT ELEMENTARY: If your child is new to this campus, you will have to process all of your schoolpay transactions as a guest. A window will pop up when you click on an item that will give you the option and you must agree: I just want to pay anyway.
For your registration to be complete, you must do the following on schoolpay (We are not accepting hard copies):
1. Click on REQUIRED Registration Form and fill out all required fields.
2. Purchase the Registration Fee.
3. Select your item (Ext Day OR Specialty Class.) Feel welcomed to purchase all other months.

Welcome back - Spring 2023! (Registration ONLY for Enrichment Classes)
Registration for Spring Enrichment Classes offered by HISD Approved Vendors and school staff will be posted during the week of January 30 for classes to begin the week of February 13. These classes will be held on Tuesdays-Thursdays until the week of May 15.
You will be notified if class is cancelled by February 8, at which time you may choose another available class. These classes will be held on Tuesdays-Thursdays from February 13-May 19 from 4:00-5:00. If your child is NOT registered in any portion of Ext Day, you MUST purchase the Bridge for the day the Class is offered. This will provide services from 2:50-4:00 in Wolf's Den. The cost listed for Bridge is for the duration of the scheduled class (Feb-May). By purchasing Bridge for the day the class is offered, there will be no need for you to pick up your child at 2:50 and bring her/him back to school. (HISD snack is provided.) Note the items you must purchase on schoolpay if you've not registered in Wolf's Den:

Bricks Slayers Robotics (BSR) Grade(s)
Join us on an adventure that requires creative thought, time management and team communication as groups build a diverse range of off-road vehicles in challenging activities with other bots! Students will be introduced in the first 5 weeks basic engineering concepts and create simple builds in weeks 6-14. LEGO Technic pieces that come together to create movable, steerable, controlled robots.
Students will engage in a group four with assigned roles that rotate weekly.
Instructor – He or she reads the out the parts needed for the builds.
Engineer - He or she will look for the parts that the instructor reads out loud.
Builder – He or she is responsible for building the robot.
Cross Checker - He or she helps the builder and gets to drive the robot Students learn to build bots using
Legos and apply different gear ratios that will enable them to modify bots to race against the clock and play tug of war! This class will discuss drive gears and the various ranges of gear ratios. Here is your chance to learn which gear ratios are associated with speed or torque. Slay other bots in challenges with quirky modifications.
