Babysitting Training BLAST!

For many pre-teens and teens planning on picking up jobs during the summer months, babysitting is one way to earn some extra cash. The American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association offers this course to help individuals, 11 years of age and older, prepare for the responsibility of babysitting. Learn how to care for infants through school age children and perform tasks such as diapering, preparing simple meals, and dressing. In addition, the course offers ideas for toys and games to play with the children. With safety as the utmost important factor, learn how to handle emergencies and focus on safe care of infants and children. Handouts available. Please bring a bag lunch.

Requirments: 11 years old (or within a few months of turning 11) Must have 10 registered to hold the class so invite your friends.
