As we enter your child’s final year in middle school, we want to share with you some of the special events, celebrations, and field trips we have planned for the end of the year along with the costs associated with those events. We will be accepting the payment of $80 in one payment, or if preferred, you can also make smaller, more manageable payments as the year progresses. You can send money in with your student or payments can be made online here.

Our goal is to have every student attend the events so if your family requires a waiver for the payment, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Haughton, 8th Grade Principal, at andre.haughton@houstonisd.org. The deadline for doing this is Friday, February 1, 2019.

The $80 will cover the following End of Year Activities:

  • Class of 2023 T-Shirt 
  • End of Year Trip- Main Event Katy:
  • End of Year Dance- A Masquerade Ball with catered dinner:

Throughout the year we will have additional events and trips, but you may pay for these as they come up. As in years past, we will take trips to the movies, skating rink, and a college campus. Once again, these trips will NOT be included in the cost for End of Year Events.

Finally, it will be at Dr. Haughton’s discretion whether students who have been in After-School Detention, In-School/Out-of-School Suspension, may attend the events. Students who get in trouble after paying will NOT be given a refund.
