Windermere High School Community, welcome to the new school year. We are grateful for your ongoing support and partnership, particularly through these challenging times. This year it is the goal of OCPS and Windermere High School Athletics to move forward with sporting events in the safest and most rewarding way possible. Please join the Windermere High School Booster Club in supporting our student athletes. Now more than ever the health and social benefits of sports, as well as the athletic and collegiate aspirations of our students is so important, it will take our village to nurture the process.

Since establishment the Booster Club has sought to support our athletes and community by seeking opportunities to bridge the two, it has been our goal to establish traditions and occasions at Windermere High School for athletes, students, families and the community for years to come, making the return to campus for games and memories a desire of all. It is also our responsibility and pleasure to help raise the money to stand in the gap from district funding available to the meet the necessary budget of operating over 30 sports teams. We have big targets to reach in supporting our student athletes. WHS has just kicked off our fall season and the future is bright with collegiate aspirations, district goals, and regional and state ambitions. 

This year in partnership with the WHS Journalism Department staff and students, we will begin producing a monthly newsletter, the Wolverine News. This newsletter will be written by students, staff and WHS Board members emphasizing our talented student writers and highlighting our athletes. The Wolverine News will be distributed through multiple channels, it will be posted on social media, available on the Windermere Athletics webpage, and will be sent via email blast to the entire parent and student body. In addition to the Wolverine News we have campus advertisement available for every sporting venue and the good word of your business’ support will spread through Wolverine Nation.
