2024 Engineers' Think Tank

GRADE(S): Students entering grades 4 - 9

Are you a fan of STEAM class in school? Do you love to build, design and experiment? Join us to learn how engineering and programming can be used to solve problems and have fun. Are you ready to take your STEAM skills to the next level? Led by elementary STEAM teachers and our district Odyssey of the Mind coordinator - students in ENGINEER'S THINK TANK will participate in activities to improve their robot design, programming, spontaneous problem solving, structure engineering, and teamwork skills. Students will also use Virtual Reality to be immersed in real world experiences. Pick up and drop off will be outside of the gym lobby. Please bring a healthy, nut-free snack, water, and a bag lunch to each session.

Although the District, its employees and volunteers will use the utmost precaution in guarding the health of the above participant and preventing accidents during these activities, I release them, as well as the Owen J Roberts School District and its Board from any liability in case of illness, injury or death as a result of this activity. Refund Policy *

By selecting the check box, I understand that if it is necessary for the Summer Enrichment Program to withdraw a class due to low enrollment, each student will receive a full refund (less processing fees) or may transfer to another class if any opening is available. Refunds will be made in accordance with original payment method. Credit Card Fees are not assessed by the District and, as such, will not be refunded under any circumstances.
