Allen 6th Grade Orchestra Festival

• Performance at Lowery Freshman Center then lunch & games at Dave & Busters

• Date of Trip: Monday, May 13, 2024

• Deadline to Pay: Friday, April 26, 2024

• Students will be bussed from their elementary school to LFC then to Dave & Busters then back to their elementary school. It all happens within the normal school day hours.

• Cost: $33 -- includes transportation, $20 Power Card for use on ticket games, unlimited video games, buffet lunch and unlimited drinks.

• NO REFUNDS OFFERED AFTER THE DEADLINE (4/26)

• Webstore closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 26. No payments will be accepted after the deadline. This is a hard deadline.
   

This Webstore Transaction will also serve as the PERMISSION SLIP.

There is a list of requirements & responsibilities for students to attend this trip. Refer to the information sent home from your orchestra director for the full list but a few of these include:

1. Your student must be academically eligible. Students must have a 70 or above in ALL classes at the end of the 3rd grading period (3/8/24) with reevaluation of failing students on the progress report that ends on 4/15/24.

2. Exemplary behavior is expected both in and out of music class.  Students must have an "O" or "S" in conduct and be in good standing with ALL elementary teachers and administration. 

3. Your student must have been present at ALL required orchestra performances. Excused absences are approved by the music teacher.

4. Your student must be able to play the contest pieces at an acceptable tempo.
