West Central Area Schools will be implementing “Early Out” days this year to allow for staff development opportunities. We are excited to use this time to enhance our students’ experiences here at WCA,  but also recognize that these days do  impact families in the school district. Therefore, the school district will provide supervision for our Kindergarten Connection through fourth grade students at South and North Elementary Schools from 1PM-3:30PM on these planned professional development early out days. The details of the day are below.

Students who currently attend our child care programs will have the same service that they would have access to on a regular day of school. Families who do not participate in our child care programs will be able to keep their child or children at the school for supervision by our paraprofessional staff from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Please keep in mind that there will be no transportation at the 3:30 time, as the buses will have already run their routes for the day. Parents will be responsible for picking their children up at 3:30. If your child/children are currently signed up for our after school program, they will be allowed to stay until our 5:00 PM closing time.

In order to have the appropriate number of paraprofessional staff  and materials, we ask that families sign up for this service online (SchoolPay link to the right) or return the registration form to reserve a spot or spots.  The deadline to register for this service is Friday, September 29th. Please contact Megan Dotts at (320) 965-7602 with any questions.
