Engineering By Land and By Sea 2019!
Design and Build Systems Using Multiple Sources of Power
Summer Engineering Camp for Students Entering Grades 4-6
Our engineering camps allow students to design and create machines and systems utilizing the basic properties of physics while using everyday materials. Students will explore multiple sources of power including motors, gravity and wind – and will create and build sail-carts, pontoon boats, catapults, Rube Goldberg machines, aqua-mobiles and more! Scientific concepts covered will include mechanical energy, electricity, energy transfers and transformations, buoyancy, magnetism and many others! (Students will even get to take some of their creations home at the end of camp to wow friends and family).
