Your gift will support the mission of the Governor Mifflin Education Foundation (GMEF) which is grounded in funding and supporting projects, programs, and initiatives in the Governor Mifflin School District. These opportunities allow our educators to provide students with innovative, experiential, and future-focused educational experiences.
We are committed to partnering with the school district, community, and other Governor Mifflin stakeholders in assuring that all students are afforded engaging and robust educational opportunities.
Because of generous support from donors, we have been able to provide:
- summer Book Bundles for over 400 students
- Summer Zone tuition for over 300 participants
- funding for staff training and certification in Albright College’s renowned Total Experience Learning (TExpL)
- equipment and supplies for the GMIS Learning Lab
- state-of-the-art upgrades to the GMMS TV Studio
- a sizeable contribution toward Cumru’s Strider Bike Program
- support for the Victory Garden at the Updike House & Museum
- scholarships for deserving seniors
- tournament registration fees for the GMIS Vex Robotics Team
- archival supplies for the GMHS to preserve GMSD historical finds
- financing for Mifflin Park’s Community Garden
