Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Full Course/Ref

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course meets the training needs of child care providers in almost all U.S. states. The training meets the Minnesota Department of Human Services Rule 2 and 3 requirement, while also being a comprehensive resource for parents, grandparents, teachers, babysitters, or anyone responsible for the safety of children. Combining classroom and hands-on skill components, child care providers and parents learn critical first aid skills, ranging from how to create a safe environment, how to help a child/infant who is choking, to preventing injuries and lifesaving CPR. Course content also includes illnesses and injuries, bleeding and bandaging, allergic reactions, how to use an epinephrine pen, asthma, bites and stings, and burns. This class does NOT include Adult CPR/AED.
