Maybe you fear you’re going to botch up your companion’s name or are unsure about gift-giving when you’ve been uninvited to a COVID-era wedding. Life is full of awkward moments. In this session, we will explore common social dilemmas and ways to navigate through them so that everyone feels valued. Topics include:

• Tips on tipping

• Your companion’s name—you can’t pronounce it

• Selected COVID-generated quandaries

• Common host/guest questions

• Gift-giving/receiving issues

• Everyday dining dilemmas

• Simple gestures that can make someone’s day

• What to do when...(participant questions)

Who is this session for? Anyone who would like to project social ease and consideration of others in common awkward situations. Limited to 20.
