Your Pelvic Health: Why Kegels Don't Cut It
Brooke Reilly, OTR/L, CLC, PMH-C
Most women report that the extent of the education they’ve received in their lifetime pertaining to pelvic health was minimal, at best. Please join us if you are interested in learning about: ● “Normal” pelvic function ● Common (but not “normal”) pelvic health challenges ● How your breath, belly, posture, and habits influence your pelvic health ● What your choices, lifestyle, and stress levels do to impact your pelvic health ● What is meant by “perimenopause”, why periods are not so bad, and how we can use our cycles to maximize our everyday function ● How your mental health affects your physical health, specific to you, as a woman. You will walk away from this interactive workshop with dozens of “aha!” moments, signaling better body literacy, and you will learn concrete self-assessment tools to monitor your own pelvic health.
You might also gain new confidence in your ability to resume “triggering” activities (like running, hiking, playing). Limited to 20.
